MonsterGirlQuest Wiki

This wiki will close in two weeks (Wednesday November 24). Fandom is removing wikis on topics that contain large amounts of sex, nudity and/or fetish material. Even if the wiki itself is kept "clean", we are still unable to host it.

The two week's pause is so you can look for a new host and copy your content there.

I'm sorry for the bad news -- Sannse

So I've been doing some testing recently in lieu of not wanting to take the time just yet to look at the back end of the game, and decided to record some observations about how much experience it takes for characters to level up in jobs and races.

Elf takes 30% more exp to reach a given level, both from 1 and from the level before it, than Magician. This has some consistency between races and jobs, but Martial Artist takes about 10% more job exp for any given level than, say, Gadabout, so there's enough variation that it's hard to say. This pattern seems to extend to Intermediate and Advanced jobs and races, though as the jobs and races themselves change there will be variance; High Elf compared to Black Mage is 33% more exp per level, for instance.

So for Magician, the amount of exp to reach the next level per level, and cumulative exp required to reach that level from 1:

So reaching level 3 takes triple the effort of going to level 2, and then the marginal amount stops growing as quickly, taking twice as much for 4 as 3, then 1.6x, and gradually sloping down to about 1.25x more exp to reach level 10 than to reach level 9 than to reach level 8. This scaling seems to be about universal; so if you had access to the marginal amount of exp required to reach level 10 in some class, you could figure out how much exp it took for any given level by extrapolating.

Intermediate jobs and races take about 50% more exp than basic, while advanced seems to take about 3x more than basic. Overall possible variance is higher than 10% (High Apoptosis takes 45 exp to reach level 2, as opposed to 40 for many other advanced races), but I'm not sure how high it goes.

So anyways, is this useful? Not that much, but I figured it was interesting enough to write down.
