I just Converted my MGQ Part 3 into a Complete version using the arc.nsa's from my two previous games. However, it seems like most of the monsterpedia entries didn't make it.

That, I can live with, however, I can't Save Inherit my data from MGQ Part 2 and continue where I left off. I definitely moved the global.sav data into the Save folder for Part 3. The Save Inherit option is simply grayed out:

Any help would be appreciated.

You can't inherit the standard MGQ2 savegame. You must finish the game (by not killing Alice) and select "Yes" when MGQ2 asks about "create save data to be imported?".

I did that. I then moved the Global.sav to MGQ3 and did the Conversion to the Complete Version. Should I have only moved the Global.sav and not converted the game? I'm confused.

Save Inherit works always, even if you not converted MGQ3 to MGQ1+2+3. Even worse, if you use the vanilla Rogue's patch and have used Save Inherit with MGQ1+2+3 - you must use Convert again (Save Inherit, play, use Convert later, use Autosave Data) because the corresponding variable (%tougou) will be resetted.

The only term for Save Inherit to work - gloval.sav must have %gloval2_story_sinkou=2... So - if this menu choice is grayed - the save isn't correct.

By the way, the proper name is gloval.sav. With "v".

Ah, sorry. I was automatically correcting it to global instead of gloval because it looked more natural. But the file name is definitely gloval.

I want to try using autosave, but I don't know what triggers the game to autosave. Can you tell me how to activate the autosave so I can make one near the end of MGQ2 and then just continue it in the Complete Edition?
