This page is dedicated to the small additions that are included within the English translation of Monster Girl Quest: Paradox. If you are looking for the English translation patch for part 2, go to this link and follow the steps outlined in the guide on how to manually patch the game.
Minor Details
- Skills and other moves are precise instead of using a letter grading.
- Monsters that you haven't recruited are marked with an [ * ] when in combat with them.
Major Details
These require that you've used the English patch from here. Most of these require that you've turned them on in the config files:
- The Monsterpedia now offers more detail:
- Monster stats properly update to whatever difficulty you're on.
- There is now a Status Ailments page that also updates depending on difficulty.
- In battle, monsters now have a health bar. (This needs to be turned on in the Config option)
- Hit [ A ] while selected on a skill to see such more detail about it, such as the Weapon Compatibility, chance of status ailments and so on. (This needs to be turned on in the Config option)
- In battle, there is now a "Status" command that lets you see any buffs/debuffs that are on an enemy or ally as well as the remaining duration. You can also see if they have any active deflectors, on death abilities, or an Endure type passive active. (This needs to be turned on in the Config option)
- In battle, there is now a "Log" command that will record previous turns in case you skipped past it on accident. (This needs to be turned on in the Config option)
- Lava and poison tiles no longer lag out the game when stepping on them repeatedly. (note that you still take damage.)
